The Health and Human Services Commission ("Owner"), for and on behalf of its Health and Specialty Care System Division ("HSCS"), is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals ("Proposals") for selection of a General Contractor ("Contractor") to provide general construction and construction administration services to the Owner for Project No. 19-122-CLC, Repairs to Building 518, Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center (the "Project"), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Solicitation. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following Work includes maintenance work to existing exterior doors, replacement of interior and exterior light fixtures, and miscellaneous work in Building 518. Central Time Anticipated Notice of Award Wednesday, 7/28/2021 Anticipated Contract Start Date Tuesday, 8/31/2021 Submit a security bond in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or original bid bond payable to the Health and Human Services Commission, in an amount not less than 5% of the largest possible total proposed cost, including consideration of alternates, to be held by the Owner's representative in accordance with Section 6 of Exhibit F. No other form of security will be accepted. The Owner takes no responsibility for a potential Respondent's emails that are captured, blocked, filtered, quarantined, or otherwise prevented from reaching the proper destination server by any HHSC antivirus or other security software.
