Reference number : 1486348 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2021-05-25 Electronic submission accepted: No Expected duration of the contract (in months): 3 The Center de services scolaire des Draveurs, owner, is requesting bids for the repair of phase 1 washrooms at L'Oiseau Bleu school located at 184, rue Nelligan, Gatineau, Quebec, J8T 6J9. Work can begin as of June 25, 2021. All of the following work must be completed by August 20, 2021: - Work in corridors, offices and public air; - Work requested in the vestibule; - The construction of the walls of premises 108, 110, 212A, 224, 224a and 225; - Room 219A must be finished; - All work related to fire safety; - Access to water and electricity must be restored by the end of this period During this period, the work may be carried out during the day. The work inside the sanitary block and other premises must be completed by September 30, 2021 at the latest and must be carried out in the evenings and weekends. The contractor must plan to supply and install six temporary sanitary blocks incorporated in trailers and include any temporary water and electricity supply connections. It must also include the emptying of sanitary waste during the period of occupation of the school, from August 23, 2021 to September 30, 2021. These items must be credited in the event that all the work is completed and delivered for the August 20, 2021. In the event that the toilet blocks are not completed after September 30, the contractor must maintain the temporary toilet blocks at his expense. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security representing 10% of the total amount of the bid excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified check made payable to the Center de services scolaire des Draveurs, an irrevocable letter of guarantee or of bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a license issued in accordance with the Act respecting insurance (RSQ, c. A-32) authorizing it to practice bond insurance, a trust company holder of a permit issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (RSQ, c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative covered by the Act respecting service cooperatives (RSQ, c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (SC, 1991, c.46), valid for a period of 45 days from the date on which the tenders are opened, otherwise the submission will be automatically rejected. This tender guarantee must be exchanged at the signing of the contract for a performance guarantee and a guarantee of obligations for pledges, materials and services. When these guarantees are in the form of a bond issued by one of the institutions authorized above, the amount of each of them corresponds to 50% of the contract price and when they are in the form of a certified check, the amount of each of them corresponds to 10% of the contract.
