**As of December 28 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project includes, but is not limited to, new recreational and maintenance facilities, new tennis facilities, new dog park(s), new parking lots and sidewalks. Work will include finish grading, utilities and utility extensions, erosion and sediment control, miscellaneous sitework, landscaping, construction of park and maintenance structures, supervision of the Work of the project, and all related work, as indicated on the Bid and Construction Documents. Only general contractors who have been approved to bid pursuant to prequalification procedures and criteria established by the Owner will be eligible to bid on the Project. Firms seeking to prequalify must not contact the City of Vestavia Hills Administration, Staff, Officials, City Councilors, etc. All questions are to be directed to TCU Consulting Services, LLC or Williams Blackstock Architects. Contacting the City of Vestavia Hills could result in disqualification from bidding. The Wald Park Improvements Phase 3, hereinafter referred to as the project, is the final phase to complete the renovation of an existing public park and recreational facility. The project will include finish grading and utilities, new asphalt parking lots and concrete hardscape, landscape and irrigation for new park spaces, athletic surfaces, new tennis courts and a tennis pavilion, new dog parks and pavilion, and a new city maintenance facility. The General Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurance and sub-contractor services for construction of a complete facility. The total construction period is of 6 months after the official Notice to Proceed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The project includes site and utility work at Wald Park to complete the remaining portion of the park master plan. The scope of work will include, but is not limited to, selective demolition, finish mgrading, utility extensions, erosion and sediment control, miscellaneous sitework, new tennis courts, a new maintenance building, new dog park, new trails, athletic lighting, lighting controls and light poles. The work will occur on the western portion of Wald Park as Phase 2 work - being performed by Taylor + Miree - continues on the eastern side of the park access road. Supervision of the Work of the project, and all related work, as indicated on the Bid and Construction Documents shall be provided as part of the Contract
