The Contractor shall perform all work during day and night hours in accordance with the Turnpike Lane Closure Policy. No U-turns shall be permitted as a condition of this Contract, except at Service Plazas. Night work shall be performed between the hours of 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday Morning No Pre-bid Conference Will Be Held for This Project. Expertise and Experience is required in the performance of Asphalt Paving and Pavement Marking. The Experience in Asphalt Paving Form (850-070-01) and the Experience in Pavement Markings Form (850-070-06) must be filled out and submitted to be reviewed by the Department. If a Contractor is presently prequalified with the Department in asphalt paving and pavement marking, it is not necessary to submit the form. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
