Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kouchibouguac, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,173-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The maximum email file size that Parks Canada is capable of receiving is 15 megabytes. The Bidder is responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of the emailed bid due to file size. The Bidder should be cognisant of the size of the email as a whole, and not only the attachments. Emails with links to bid documents will not be accepted. Bid documents must be sent as email attachments. This project is for the rehabilitation of the South Kouchibouguac Campground entrance. Work under this project will include: realignment of the entrance road for a more efficient roadway access system; construction of a larger and more functional entrance kiosk (109 m2, Net-zero design) with integrated firewood storage & distribution; a significant expansion of the parking area; trenching for underground utilities to the new kiosk and exterior lighting fixtures; clearing of vegetation for the expanded parking area; demolition of the existing kiosk; demolition of the existing woodshed, and removal of organic layer for the placement of a +100mm elevated gravel pad (3.6m x 13.4m); and relocation of an existing shipping container from the parking lot to the new gravel pad for extra wood storage. The project will improve visitor experience at the South Kouchibouguac Campground entrance kiosk and wood storage building, will better respond to visitation requirements, and provide proper work stations for park staff. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001 > $5,000,000, Taxes extra. Contractor shall perform and complete the Work no later than January 31, 2022.
