Renovation of a multi-residential development in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The St. Louis Housing Authority (SLHA) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to perform work consisting of, but not be limited to masonry repairs, structural steel repairs, rough and finish carpentry, drywall repairs, electrical, and mechanical equipment repairs as required to accommodate removal and replacement of the current building elevator system with a new elevator system designed to meet all current code requirements. The replacement of all three elevators (1-freight, 2-passenger elevators) will include the replacement of all elevator switchgear, cables, structural supports and control systems. Elevator cabs will be rebuilt and upgraded to include new finishes. Contractor will also be responsible for maintaining at least one (1) elevator for resident use throughout the performance period. The established goal for the business participation shall be no less than 25% MBE and 5% WBE of the total contract(s) price. The goals for workforce content are 35% minority and 5% women.
