Site work and paving for a road / highway in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of June 10, 2025, a general contractor has been awarded and construction is underway. It is anticipated construction will be completed in 2027. The Arkansas Department of Transportation is proposing an interstate that would connect Highway 76 from Walnut Ridge to the Missouri state line. Three different routes are being proposed for I-57 and would add 40 miles of roadway.
