Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Barrington, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
**As of December 30, 2021, the award amount is not determined. The Town of Barrington, New Hampshire, is seeking statements of qualifications pertaining to the design and construction of a fire separation as well as updating two (2) additional gymnasium walls at the Recreation Department facility located at 105 Ramsdell Lane. The fire separation will be located on the left, inside wall of the gym that separated the Food Pantry and the Rec gym. In addition, construct the right-side gym wall from floor to ceiling to cover exposed steel paneling. Install 10' MDO along bottom portion of said two (2) walls as well as additional back wall. All three (3) walls will need to be painted, replaced 4" vinyl perimeter molding and replacing seven (7) electrical outlets. The construction window for this project is a driving factor as the project will need to be completed quickly and efficiently in order to get programs back up and running. Construction could start on Monday, February 28th, 2022, with the gym available for use by April 15th 2022.
