Barrington School District is soliciting proposals for the Snow and Ice Safety for Roof at ECLC Project Barrington School District as needed for the Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) located at 77 Ramsdell Lane Barrington, N.H. 03825. E-mail, fax, or other forms of the proposal will not be accepted. Proposals received after the closing date and time will not be accepted. The School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to negotiate with any or all Bidders, and to waive any informalities in the Request for Proposals process, and to enter into an agreement with the Bidder whom the School District in its sole discretion determines is in the best interest of the School District even though the Bidder may not submit the lowest bid or proposal. Bidders shall be responsible for any and all expenses that they may incur in preparing their proposals. WITHDRAWAL OF ANY PROPOSALS is prohibited for a period of one-hundred eighty (180) days after the proposal due date. Cut out existing EPDM (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) and insulation to install solid KD blocking (2" X 6") minimum to steel roof deck at snow rail locations. o Install new EPDM flashing over new wood blocking. o Install one (1) of Alpine #115-2 pipe snow rails with ice flags at eve edges and behind pipe penetrations; flashed to the EPDM roof system as required. o Install four (4) sections of 24" (High) X 120' (Long) EPDM Temperteck snow melt system at eve edged in front of snow rail. o Installation of all systems must follow all specifications and requirements of manufacturer. o Electrical will be supplied by owner. o Snow rail system will be installed over a load bearing wall. o Work to be performed normal work hours Monday- Friday. o Supply Performance Bond Insurance covering cost of Project.
