The work includes pulverize and relay existing 8-foot wide asphalt path, multi-use trail grading, base course dense, asphaltic pavement, concrete curb ramps and sidewalk, signing, pavement marking, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work. Estimate of Principal Items: Excavation Common, 630 C.Y.; Base Course Dense 1-1/4-Inch, 500 Ton; Pulverize and Relay, 13,880 S.Y.; Asphaltic Surface, 2000 Ton; Concrete Curb and Gutter, 300 L.F.; Concrete Sidewalk 6-Inch, 2,270 S.F. This project is receiving federal funding through the Wisconsin Department of Transportation - Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). AFFIRMATIVE ACTION The successful bidder will be required to accept as its operating policy the following statement: "It is the policy of this Company to assure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, religion, sex, color, national origin, age or disability.
