Bidders eligible to submit Bids for this Request for Tenders have been previously selected through the process of a Request for Prequalifications, issued under Contract C14-09-21 which closed on June 1, 2021. The City of Hamilton was served Director's Order No.1-PE3L3 (Order) by the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) on December 4, 2020, as a result of the Main/King Combined Sewer Overflow discharge that occurred between January 2014 and July 2018. As described in the Order, the Chedoke Creek Workplan identifies the remedial strategy for targeted dredging in Chedoke Creek with a deadline of December 31, 2022. This revised deadline was approved by the MECP on October 22, 2021 with all other items in the Order remaining in effect, and unaltered.
