Project has been cancelled at this time. The specifications of the paint scheme are being updated, and once completed the solicitation will be reissued. Thank you for your interest. To provide all labor, equipment, and materials needed for exterior renovation of the Gilbert Road 1,000,000 Gallon Fluted Column Elevated Water Storage Tank All times herein are Local Time. Bid packages must be complete in detail with all required information and documents and if not so completed, will be rejected. Exterior renovation of the Gilbert Road 1,000,000 Gallon Fluted Column Elevated Water Storage Tank Location: 1920 Gilbert Road EXTERIOR RENOVATION: 1. All exterior surfaces shall be cleaned utilizing high pressure (minimum of 4,000 P.S.I) water cleaning with solvent as needed to remove mildew, dust, dirt, and surface contaminants. 2. Areas where rust, loose paint, or unsound surfaces exist shall be spot cleaned in accordance with one or more of the following procedures: SSPC #2 Hand Tool Cleaning, SSPC #11 Power Tool Cleaning, SSPC #6 "Commercial" Blast Cleaning. 3. After cleaning, all bare metal areas shall receive one [1] coat of Rust Inhibitive Metal Primer. 4. All primed areas shall receive one [1] spot coat of finish coating, either alkyd enamel, aluminum, silicone enamel, or urethane finish.
