As of July 9 2021 this project has an awarded bidder. Bids will be received by the St. Martin Parish Government, State of Louisiana, for clearing and excavation for the CYPRESS ISLAND/JOE DAIGRE DRAINAGE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE PROJECT - PHASE I, and other work in connection therewith. Bids will be on a unit price basis; segregated Bids will not be accepted. To qualify to bid, each bidder shall be a properly licensed Contractor in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2150-2163 for the classification of Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction; Heavy Construction; or Municipal and Public Works Construction. Contractors desiring to bid shall submit evidence that they hold license of proper classification in full force and effect at the time the bidding documents are requested from the office of the Engineers. The Contractor shall show his license number on the bid form and on the envelope containing his Bid. Bidding documents shall not be issued later than 24 hours prior to the hour and date set for the opening of Bids. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the Engineer. This check or Bid Bond shall be given as a guarantee that the Bidder will execute the Agreement, should it be awarded to him. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with LA R.S. 38:2212(A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements of this Section, those stated in the advertisement for bids, and those required on the bid form shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived by any public entity.
