Renovation of a residential development in Saint Martinville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Modernization of Housing 2022 & 2023 CFP, Bathroom Renovations at Sites LA 40-3, St. Martinville, Louisiana for the Housing Authority of St. Martinville located at 100 Bulliard Drive, St. Martinville, Louisiana 70582. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the Classification of Building Construction. Each bona fide bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S.38: 2212(A)(1)(c). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA R.S. 38:2214 or without the consent of the Housing Authority. The Work for this project is generally described as the following: replacement of existing tubs and showers, flooring, toilets, vanities and lavatories, heat-vent-lights, wall finishes, electrical devices and fixtures, as well as other minor plumbing and electrical work and other necessary and required work for proper installation as described in the specifications and construction documents. Bids shall be a Stipulated Sum basis as per the original documents The Owner requires the Architect to issue Substantial Completion of the Work on or before 270 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Thereafter, liquidated damages will be charged. A Bid Security (a certified check or bank draft made payable to the Housing Authority, U. S. Government Bonds, or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable Sureties) in the amount of 5% of the highest possible bid amount is required. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the specifications under the Davis-Bacon Act must be paid on this project. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Bidders should be aware that the project is funded by Capital Fund Program of the Department of Housing & Urban Development of the Government of the United States. The successful contractor will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds.
