Renovation of a municipal facility in Melbourne, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work consists of furnishing all material, labor, and equipment necessary for constructing archway-gateway painting. All work is to be done in accordance to the plans and specifications of Project no. 18318 The contractor shall not subcontract more than 50% of the work based on the total contract price. The contractor will be required to provide a list of subcontractors and the value of each subcontractors portion of the work. The successful bidder must be able to show a past history of successfully completed refinishing existing structural steel projects that are compliant with the applicable permits and standards. At a minimum, a basic painter's license issued by brevard county is required. Any higher-level state license that allows for painting is also permitted. The successful bidder (or subcontractor) shall possess an electrical license to remove and reinstall the lighted sign. If the Contractor, in the course of work, finds any discrepancy between the drawings and the physical conditions of the locality, or any errors or omissions in drawings or in layout as given by points and instructions, it shall be his duty to immediately inform the Engineer, in writing, and the Engineer shall promptly verify the same. Any work done after such discovery, until authorized, shall be done at the Contractor's risk
