The projects consist of the construction of a parking lot off Morgantown Road for the Center Grove Soccer Field. The parking lot includes underground detention, curbs, full depth pavement, landscaping, and ditch reroute. Reconfiguration of the circle at the Southeast side of Honey Grove. This involves removal of an existing roadway, pavement markings, sidewalk, and curb and reinstalling. Also the widening of Pennington Roadway from Morgantown Road to the East sideof Hornaday Drive. This project will widen the road 8 feet to the North while constructing a roundabout, milling & surfacing the existing roadway, and full depth pavement in the project limits. Pennington improvements also includes storm water improvements involving new storm structures, concrete ditches, and curb and gutter. Saddle Club Road improvements that include widening of the existing roadway, mill & resurface, stone shoulders, and construction of a drive. All work is specified in the Construction Schedule and Specifications for said project. The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to Center Grove Community School Corporation. The bidder to whom a contract for work is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond executed on the specified forms and acceptable to the School, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract. Center Grove Community School Corporation reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids. Bids may be held by Center Grove Community School Corporation, for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and the investigation of the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
