Renovation of an educational facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Question Submission Close Date 6/3/2021 3:00 PM MDT Project Description/Base Bid: Replace approximately 18,332 Sq Ft of roof as well as the main AHU, 2 Boilers, and related HVAC equipment and controls. Additive Alternate No. 1: Replace 2 split AC units. Additive Alternate No. 2: Remove and replace parapet wall. **Bidders are required to have a general contractors license, and roof repairs must be performed by a DFCM approved roofing contractor.** The trades involved in this project are Rough Carpentry, Selective Demo, Roofing, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical. Project Specific Details: Construction to start May 10th, 2022 and all construction must be completed before July 29th, 2022. There will be 3 classrooms that will need temporary cooling until HVAC is functional and can keep building at set point. The temp cooling must be able to handle the load of up to 21 people in a classroom that is roughly 20 feet x40 feet.
