Site work for a water / sewer project in East Palo Alto, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Palo Alto owns and operates a Storm Pump Station, located within the Palo Alto Airport, at 1925 Embarcadero Road. This station receives water from the Palo Alto Golf Course, Palo Alto Airport, and the east end of Embarcadero Road. During a routine inspection, the Storm Drain Crew discovered that Pump #3 has developed a bearing or bushing failure in the shafting of the pump. Additionally, this pump may also be deteriorating due to potential wear and tear of the upper shaft. For this reason, Public Works is soliciting quotations from qualified and experienced contractors for the removal, rehabilitation and reinstallation of this pump.
