The Work will include the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment, and other appurtenances for cleaning and inspecting approximately 42,000 lineal feet of sanitary sewer pipelines using closed circuit television (CCTV) methods as indicated in these contract documents and specifications. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or a proposal guaranty bond payable to the order of the East Palo Alto Sanitary District in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid as a guaranty that the bidder will execute the contract if it be awarded to him in conformity with the proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a labor and material bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The District ("Owner") reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to determine which proposal is, in the judgment of the District, the lowest responsible bid of a responsible bidder or group of bidders and which proposal should be accepted in the best interest of the District.The District also reserves the right to waive any informalities in any proposal or bid.
