Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Maple Falls, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,270-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
This project has been awarded to Tiger construction in the amount of $1,591,695. Whatcom County Parks and Recreation is requesting bids for the Silver Lake Park Maple Creek Shower and Restroom Facility, located in Maple Falls, Washington. This project includes but it not limited to the new construction of a 1,270 square foot, single-story, concrete masonry unit and wood-framed building, together with associated civil and site development work, and other work, as further described in the bid documents. Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities. Whatcom County encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned firms to respond. Whatcom County in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for award. As required by law, the E-Verify System may be required. Engineer's Estimate Range: $ 1,350,000 - $ 1,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
