The scope of work consists of the conversion of an existing dry-well/wet-well submersible pump station to a conventional wet-well station with precast valve vault. Power washing and cleaning of existing wet well, with replacement concrete sections and internal lining of the concrete; bypass pumping, electrical upgrades, site work, and general restoration. After the award of the contract led by competitive bid and prior to the time the contract is entered into, bidders shall submit the affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Allen County, Ohio. The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. The City of Delphos, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder. No bidder my withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids will be substantially completed on or before November 15, 2021 and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 14.13 of the General Conditions on or before December 31, 2021. it may be required that the PVC and ABS sewers be tested for deflection before expiration of the one year maintenance bond.
