Plans call for a modern middle school to replace Jefferson Middle School including a new gymnasium for the high school. The middle school will take over the current high school gym following the transition. In addition, the project vision calls for a new cafetorium. The school district received $20 million in state funding from Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC). The school plans to match the award with $2.25 million in local funding.
