This project has been awarded to NW Construction General Contracting Inc in the amount of $819,239.
This project will consist of the development of a paved overflow parking lot and the addition of a Childrens Celebration Garden Playground within the Felida Park. The parking lot will be located on a standalone parcel located just to the West of the main entrance into Felida Park off of NW 122nd Street and the playground will be located to the East of the covered picnic structure within an open area of grass. The playground will consist of play equipment designed for children of all abilities and will include benches and other architectural amenities. Primary bid items: HMA Cl. In. 64-22; Cement Concrete Class 3000 and 4000; Chain Link Fence; Traffic Gate; Permanent Signing; LID Stormwater Features; Ornamental Boulders; Poured In Place Rubber Surfacing; Play Equipment; Site Furnishings. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid documents. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Bidders company name, project title, project number, bid opening date, and SEALED BID clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Bids submitted by FAX or email will not be accepted. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or proposal bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory contract bond, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to Clark County. Clark County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
