Renovation of a water / sewer project in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of 10/6/2020 was already awarded for $1,397,969.76. This contract provides for improvements at an existing, 1.0 million gallon, elevated drinking water storage tank. The improvements include an interior coating blast and recoat, an exterior cleaning with overcoat with removal/replacement of tank access and safety appurtenances. Any required steel repairs or patching will be performed as needed, and other work, all in accordance with the attached plans, exhibits, general conditions, requirements and specifications. The City of Vancouver in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises, as defined in 49 CFR part 26, will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities.
