Site work for a fire / police facility in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.
This contract provides for installation of response timers, commonly called "turnout timers," in eight (8) City of Vancouver Fire Stations. The timers will be mounted within each station's bay such that crews can see the timers as they don their gear. Each of the eight fire stations listed below will have one (1) timer installed. Each timer will need to be integrated with the station's Locution system, having the necessary low voltage (CAT5) wire ran from the station's data room and connected to the timer. In addition to the installation of hardware and wiring, the Contractor will need to ensure that each timer is fully functional, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The contract work shall be fully complete within 40 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 02/15/2023 at 5:00 PM PT All project-specific questions, requests for clarification, and requests for substitutions must be submitted in writing to james.nieman@cityofvancouver.us. If required, an addendum will be prepared and issued by the City of Vancouver no later than Thursday, February 16, 2023.
