Failure to register with the Contract Officer may result in not receiving an amendment, which may make bid non-responsive. Due to COVID-19 Safety Concerns, Bidders are not allowed to visit the site. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of the following: 1. Construction of a Heat Recovery System that transfers heat from the Generators at the Alaska Village Electric Co-Op (AVEC) Power Plant to the hydronic systems following buildings: a. Base Bid: Washeteria b. Ad Alts: City Garage, City Office, and Clinic 2. Below grade, insulated heat recovery pipelines will be installed between the power plant and the respective buildings. Mechanical and electrical upgrades will be made to the hydronic systems at the respective buildings, including installation of heat exchangers, pumps, instrumentation, controls and associated appurtenances. The new pipelines will connect to the existing pipeline stub-out at the AVEC power plant. 3. All other work indicated on the Plans and in these Specifications.
