The West Carroll C.U.S.D. #314 is accepting bids for air conditioning in the remaining building at the West Carroll Middle School. The successful bidder will need to supply proof of warranties, payment of prevailing wage, and criminal background checks.
Proposals must include:
(1) Install Units sizing, required load AHU-1-91 tons and AHU-3-48 tons,
(2) Install concrete pad south ofthe exiting condensing units and extend fencing around units,
(3) Set standard efficiency dual circuit condensing units on new pad on (Carrie, Trane, or Daikin)
(4) Modify existing air handler as required and install new cooling coil (include drain pan and blank off plates as required)
(5) Complete refrigerant piping between condensing unit and coil as required by unit manufacture. Includes 'A" insulation on suction line,
(6) Complete condensate drain to nearest floor drain
(7) Install power wiring from Main distribution panel to new condensing units, includes ceiling removal and replacement as required, includes new breakers for the new equipment, new condensing units will include a disconnect, EMT conduit inside the building and Rigid Conduit outside, Install VFD on AHU-1 to modulate the supply fan based on duct static,
(8) Temperature Controls, rework controls on the AHU to add in the DX cooling sequence, condensing units should include standalone controls for VAV operation including required temperature sensors and status sensors, temperature control system will send an enable and setpoint to the condensing unit, update graphics as required, exiting reheat zones, VAVs, etc will remain as is.
(9) Furnish and Install Needle Point Ionization for (3) AHUs serving this building, Complete power wiring for each unit from nearest available breaker, Mount Ionization units before the coil area on each AHU, For units without air conditioning these will mount after the filter
(10) Complete startup and check out of equipment
(11) Test and balance AHUs to confirm design airflows
