Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Florence, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

DPS is soliciting for the paving of a parking lot at the Florence Tactical Training Center. This work must cover the composition, mixing, construction upon the prepared subgrade, and the protection of hot asphalt concrete pavement. The hot asphalt pavement must consist of an aggregate or asphalt base course and asphalt surface course constructed in conformity with the lines, grades, thickness, and cross sections as described in these specifications. Each course must be constructed to the depth, section, or elevation required by the drawings and must be rolled, finished, and approved before the placement of the next course. A. Pavement Markings Section 32 17 23 - PAVEMENT MARKINGS B. All reference amendments adopted prior to the effective date of this Contract must be applicable to this Project. C. All materials, installation and workmanship must comply with the applicable requirements and standards addressed within the following references 1. Standard Construction Specifications 2. Hot Mix Bituminous Paving Manual, Federal Highway Administration 3. Hot Mix Asphalt Paving Handbook, US Army Corps of Engineers 4.
