Site work for a water / sewer project in Lagrange, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
For the construction of Nova 8" Transmission Water Main Extension - Contract 98, project consisting of approximately 8,584 L.F. of 8-inch PVCO water main (open-cut), 544 L.F. of 8-inch Restrained Joint water main (open-cut), 1,555 L.F. of 8-inch directionally drill restrained joint PVC water main, 130 L.F of 8-inch restrained joint PVC water main bored and jacked in 12" casing pipe, and (2) 8-inch gate valves, and (2) blow-off assemblies, together with all related work as specified and shown on the drawings Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid to insure the execution of the contract for which the bid is made. In case the bid is not accepted, the check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder, but if the bid is accepted and the bidder shall refuse or neglect to enter into a contract with the Rural Lorain County Water Authority within ten (10) days after the time he has been notified of the acceptance of his bid, the said check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Rural Lorain County Water Authority as liquidated damages for the failure to do so. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids. The Rural Lorain County Water Authority reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids.
