Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 19-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility.
Kiwanis Place Lodge is a 19 story building located at 10330 – 120 Street. The building is a combined 323 units between assisted and independent living. The facility was completed in 1972, is owned by the Alberta Social Housing Corporation (ASHC), and is managed by GEF Seniors Housing. The building currently has a SBS roof over the first story dining room and kitchen, and a flat Build up roof system over the front entrance that is near end of life. This project will be to remove and replace the roof system in accordance to the design drawings and specifications created by Dalwing Roof Consulting Ltd and included in this tender package. Due to this building being a seniors housing building and currently fully occupied, any hot work shall be kept to minimum when possible.
