The Fire Station Facility shall be a two story facility of no more than 10,000 square feet with a minimum of three apparatus bays, each with external bi-fold apparatus bay response doors;
antique fire apparatus display space; office facilities for two companies; and living space for a crew of ten firefighters. A fire pole/sliding pole will connect the two floors to allow quick firefighter access
to the ground floor. An exterior stairwell shall serve dual functions: convenient exterior access from the second floor and firefighter training needs. One on one meeting - Nov 29, 2021 The site for Fire Station No. 12 is located in the Platinum Triangle community near the Angel Stadium on South State College Blvd. between Gene Autry Way and Katella Ave. The site is located between the 1818 Platinum Triangle development to the north and the Stadium Gateway Building to the south separated by the future "E Street." A conceptual site plan is issued with the Request for Proposals (RFP) and represents a conceptual building layout. Proposers shall consider the project goals, site constraints, and existing community context to develop their designs.
