The Project consists of: Repaving basketball court asphalt, including a portion of fire lane asphalt, and basketball hoop replacement. Last day to submit RFI: June 07, 2021 Board/Award Date Thursday, June 24, 2021 Time for Completion THIRTY (30) Consecutive Calendar Days Engineer's Estimate (including all allowances): $320,000 A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Campbell Union High School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, to re-bid, and to reject the bid of any bidder if District believes that it would not be in the best interest of the District to make an award to that bidder, whether because the bid is not responsive or the bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by District. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed via email to the District to Tasha Tenturier, Facilities Project Manager via electronically or e-mail at ttenturier@cuhsd.org. The Work of this Contract shall include all Labor, material, equipment, tools, coordination, engineering and supervision to survey, demo, off-haul and dispose, clean, prepare, repair, resurface, repave and stripe basketball court asphalt, including but not limited to a portion of fire lane asphalt, and basketball hoop replacement in accordance with the Bid Documents comprised of the front ends DIV00 and DIV01, technical specs, drawings, and or sketches. In the event any requirement within these documents, collectively referred to as the Bid Documents, conflict with an applicable requirement impeding the construction contractor to comply with two or more sections, the more stringent requirement shall apply 4. Map depicting the drop off location at the District office at 3235 Union Ave is attached. Bids will be read outdoors. Please wear a face mask.
