The project is located in the community of Weenusk First Nations (Peawanuk), northern Ontario near the Hudson Bay. This community is accessible by air yearlong or by winter roads, normally constructed in March. The work to be carried out under this Contract shall include the furnishing of all labour, supervision, materials necessary to carry out the following: Deliver of prepurchased equipment to the site on the Winter Road from Manitoba; Install of all prepurchased equipment including but not limited to: Submersible Pumps, Pumps Accessories, Controls, Instruments, backup generator, and ATS; Install all process piping, gate valves, check valves, overflow pipe inline check valve, and fitting inside the pumping station wet well; Design and install aluminium platform and ladder inside the pumping station wet well; Install removable davits and concrete supports. Provide One (1) removable davit to be used with either support for pump removal and installation; Provide a standalone fall arrest davit system; Install all require site electrical, including connecting to the existing service on the electrical pole onsite; Install all electrical and instrumentation conduits, and wires; Construct all required concrete pads and concrete supports for the davits, control panels, and the backup generator; Design and implement temporary pumping of domestic sewage to bypass around the pumping station, and pump sewage directly to the sewage lagoons. System to include pump(s), piping, valves and fittings as required; Install a storage shed on a compacted gravel bed - Provisional; Installation of chain link fence and gate at the pumping station site; Install new posts, fence sections and double leaf swing gate at the lagoon site; Repair above grade parts of concrete on chambers at the lagoon site; Design, deliver and install a removable steel cap over the repaired concrete manholes. Install a new electrical service and heat tracing controller at the lagoon site Install new insulted and heat traced PVC piping at the lagoons site Install all required piping, valves and fittings at the lagoons site; Install two back flow preventer on the gravity sewage lines at 2 homes near the pumping station; All restoration work; Tree and plant removal at the pumping station site; Miscellaneous works. All as shown on the Contract Drawings and described hereinafter or as may otherwise be directed by the Engineer.
