For 2021 Water Improvements Reservoirs 3 and 4 Circulation Line The Work that is presented in the Bid Proposal for this Contract consists of the Contractor to furnish and install buried yard piping including approximately 80 linear feet of 24-inch ductile iron pipe, 44 linear feet of 16-inch ductile iron pipe, 5 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron pipe, one (1) single pumper fire hydrant assembly, seven (7) 12-inch to 24-inch gate valves and valve boxes, fittings, cathodic protection anodes, and sections of storm drain pipe. The Work in the Reservoir Facility Building includes mechanical piping, flow meters, valves, fittings, hydro-kinetic turbine, instrumentation, electrical, controls, and HVAC equipment. Additionally, the Work includes but is not limited to demolition of Century Village Booster Station, removal of the existing sleeve valve in Tudor Valve Vault, associated and ancillary appurtenances, and the restoration of all disturbed areas and affected streets including topsoil and seeding, and paving Estimated Construction Cost: Between: $1,000,000 - $3,000,000 The Municipality of Anchorage reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening of bids or before the award of contract unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days from the time of the opening. The Municipality shall not be responsible for bid preparation costs, nor for costs, including attorney fees, associated with any (administrative, judicial or otherwise) challenge to the determination of the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and/or award of contract, and/or rejection of bids. By submitting a bid, each bidder agrees to be bound in this respect and waives all claims to such costs and fees. Contracts shall be awarded by written notice issued by the Purchasing Officer to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; however, preference will be given to local bidders in compliance with Anchorage Municipal Code Section 7.20.040. The Municipality of Anchorage assumes no responsibility for any interpretations or presentations made by any of its officers or agents unless such interpretations or presentations are made by written addendum to this Invitation to Bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
