New construction of a swimming pool in Vancouver, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a swimming pool.
Two new outdoor pool facilities. The proposed sites are Mount Pleasant Park and Hillcrest. Mount Pleasant: The proposed outdoor pool site at Mount Pleasant Park comprises 0.17 hectares (0.42 acres) consisting of the north-central portion of the park, located north of West 16th Avenue between Columbia Street and Ontario Street . On the west side of the park is Simon Fraser Elementary School and is separated by a parking lot, a basketball court, and a playground. Hillcrest: The proposed outdoor fitness/lap pool site at Hillcrest comprises 0.18 hectares (0.45 acres) of the northeast corner of Nat Bailey Stadium property with borders of the parking lot, Ontario Street, and Peveril Avenue. TIMELINE: This was for a pool study only and the study was completed. No further update is available. Coverage is discontinued.
