Site work and renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.
As of September 30, 2021, the project was awarded to Bar Construction Company in the amount of $1,019,800. Currently, the projected start date/time is November, 2021. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or a certified check drawn on some bank or trust company, insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, of an amount equal to but not less than five Percent (5%) of the proposal, or in lieu thereof a bidder may offer a bid bond of five percent (5%) of the bid executed by a surety company licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute the contract in accordance with tne bid bond. Each proposal must be accompanied by the documentation required by the City of Greensboro's Minority and Women's Business Enterprise program included in the project manual. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities that are deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Greensboro.
