TriMet is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to procure, install and maintain battery electric bus charging stations. Award of Contract by Sept 29, 2021 Tri Met is Oregons largest transit authority and delivers over 97 million trips per year across bus, light rail, commuter rail, and paratransit operations. TriMet serves 85 bus lines via 696 buses operated out of three depots and has committed to transitioning their fleet to non-diesel alternatives by 2040 Prior to beginning work, Contractor must file with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board a public works bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in the State of Oregon in the amount of $30,000, as required by ORS 279C.836. The bond must provide that the contractor will pay claims ordered by the Bureau of Labor and Industries to workers performing labor upon public works project
