Renovation of a mixed-use development in Midland, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Questions about this system can be directed to: Midland ISD Work shall include removal of the existing roof assembly down to the gypsum deck. Mechanically fasten the base sheet to the deck as per ASCE 7 Criteria. Install all associated crickets as noted on the roof plan. Provide a 90-mil modified base ply sheet set in hot asphalt. Provide a Coal-tar Elastomeric Membrane cap sheet in hot asphalt. Provide new aggregate surfacing set in the specified hot asphalt. Provide a twenty (20) year NDL manufacturer's warranty and a two (2) year contractor's warranty. New metal shall be prefinished, selected by the Owner from a full range of colors including premium and metallic. Work shall also include all HVAC and electrical, piping dis-connect and re-connection. Installation shall be as per NRCA, SMACNA, ANSI/SPRI, specifications, details and manufacturer's guidelines. All gas lines to be tested and certified by a master plumber. It is the intent of the specification that the new work will provide a watertight facility. These specifications describe the minimum acceptable standards of construction and finish. Provide a coal-tar extended elastomeric built-up roof system on the areas as indicated on the enclosed drawings. The roof shall be installed in accordance with the attached specifications and in strict accordance with the manufacturer's recommended procedures.
