As of July 31, 2024, project was awarded but awarded amount is not available. The Gila River Indian Community's Department of Transportation is request quotes for the construction of a 6' wide sidewalk in District 7 of the Gila River Indian Community. The sidewalk will be located on the east side of 83rd Ave. and extend from the District 7 Service Center to Baseline Road. Along Baseline Road the sidewalk will be located on the south side of the road and extend from 83rd Ave eastward to 75th Ave. The sidewalk will be built according to MAG Specification and have a cross section of 4" of concrete over 6" of AB. Also as part of the project, Six Streetlights will need to be installed just east of 75th Ave in the City of Phoenix. In conjunction with the Sidewalk Installation GRICDOT would like to collect bids for the installation on one Bus Bay on 83rd Ave and 1 Bus Bay on 79th Ave. The Bus Bay on 83rd Avenue will be constructed at the District 7 Service Center and the Bus Bay on 79th avenue will be constructed at the intersection with West Monahan Drive just south of Baseline Road. The Bus Bays will be constructed according to Mag Standard details and include one pedestrian shelter at each location. A Bid security of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each Bid. The Bid security must be in the form of cash deposit, a certified or bank check made payable to the Community, or a bid bond issued by a solvent surety licensed to do business in the state in which the project is located and from a Treasury Listed type "A" Company. Performance and Payment Bonds, (A+) for construction in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, shall be furnished to the Community prior to and as a condition precedent to commencement of work.
