The City of Gladstone ("City") seeks the services of a landscape architecture firm ("Consultant"), including as necessary any sub-consultants, to prepare a site plan for the active sections of Meldrum Bar Park, in general accordance with the Gladstone Parks Master Plan (2017). Meldrum Bar Park comprises 87.4 acres on the east bank of the Willamette River, immediately north of the confluence of the Clackamas River and the Willamette. It is Gladstone residents' favorite park in the City. About 33 acres in the north stretch of the park, abutting Rinearson Creek, are considered natural area and generally not the focus of this site plan effort. To perform this mission, the City seeks proposals from qualified firms or teams with demonstrated expertise in urban park planning and design, preferably with familiarity with Gladstone. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
