Prospective bidders are to visit the site to verify scope of the work, measurements, quantities, etc., prior to bidding. The Town reserves the right at all times to increase or decrease the amount of work if deemed in its best interest. The Town of Fairfield Public Works Department is seeking qualified contractors to provide painting services for the exteriorof the Owen Fish Legion Hall, 1443 Stratfield Road. The awarded Contractor for this project shall be responsible for all tasks listed below for the entire exterior of the building; Power Wash the exterior of the building to remove mold and mildew.Approximately 3,880 Square Feet of surface area including eleven (11)windows and four (4)doors.(Note: 4 additional Vinylwindows on building are not included in the project.)Scrape, sand and prepare the exterior surface of the building and properly dispose of residual paint. Wash exterior of building to remove mold and mildew. One (1)part bleach, three (3) parts watersolution applied with pump sprayer, rinse with garden hose.
