Renovation of an educational facility in Fremont, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for: Removal of hazardous materials from work area, removal and replacement of existing roof systems including the low-slope built-up roof system and the steep-sloped asphalt shingle system, removal and replacement of existing internal metal gutters and downspouts, removal and replacement of existing wood fascia, repair substrate, flash existing pipe and conduit penetrations. Major components of Project Work consist of removal of hazardous materials from work area, removal and replacement of existing roof systems including the low-slope built-up roof system and the steep-sloped asphalt shingle system, removal and replacement of existing internal metal gutters and downspouts, removal and replacement of existing wood fascia, repair substrate, flash existing pipe and conduit penetrations THE SCOPE OF WORK APPLIES TO BUILDINGS 31, 32 & 33 UON: o REMOVE HAZARDOUS MATERIALS FROM WORK AREA, BUILDINGS 31 & 33. o REMOVE EXISTING ROOF SYSTEMS INCLUDING THE LOW-SLOPE BUILT-UP ROOF SYSTEM (BUILDING 33), AND THE STEEP-SLOPED ASPHALT SHINGLE SYSTEM ((BUILDINGS 31, 32, & 33). o REMOVE EXISTING INTERNAL METAL GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS AND REPLACE WITH NEW. o REMOVE EXISTING WOOD FASCIA AND REPLACE WITH NEW. o REPAIR SUBSTRATE AS REQUIRED. o NEW LOW-SLOPE SINGLE -PLY ROOF SYSTEM (BUILDING 33) AND STEEP-SLOPED ASPHALT SHINGLE ROOF SYSTEM BUILDINGS 31,32, & 33. o FLASH EXISTING PIPE AND CONDUIT PENETRATIONS. o ROOF-MOUNTED EQUIPMENT TO REMAIN, U.O.N.
