The Talladega Municipal Airport Board is seeking statements of qualifications from experienced airport planning and engineering consultants to perform services for the next five years (FY 2022 - FY 2026) at the Talladega Municipal Airport. Possible work will include preparation of preapplications and applications for federal and state funding; airport layout plan updates; airport compliance issues and analysis; benefit cost analysis; capital improvement plans; Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) plan; environmental studies; feasibility studies; land acquisitions; engineering design and planning for airport lighting system improvements or replacement / existing electrical system upgrades or conversions / fueling facilities / NAVAIDS / public roadway rehabilitation or new development / runway extension justification / runway, taxiways, or aprons improvements, expansions or overlays / safety area and airfield security improvements, including perimeter or security fencing / terminal area and terminal building improvements / and upgrades to existing or the design of new aircraft hangars. The Talladega Municipal Airport Board will make its selection based solely on the materials provided by the responding firms. The following criteria will be used to evaluate and rank the submitted qualifications: 1. Capability to perform services described in this notice (20 pts.) 2. Recent experience in airport projects comparable to the proposed projects (20 pts.) 3. Knowledge of FAA and ALDOT Aeronautics Bureau regulations, policies, and procedure (20 pts.) 4. Knowledge of the airport and the general geographic area (15 pts.) 5. Key personnel's professional background and availability for the proposed projects (15 pts.) 6. Demonstrated ability to meet schedules or deadlines, including references (10 pts.) The Talladega Municipal Airport Board reserves the right to negotiate with any engineering firm, after statements of qualifications are opened and firms are ranked based on their professional qualifications.
