The Bedford Township Municipal Authority is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: S.R. 1016 Section 01B Chalybeate Road Water & Sewer relocation Project: Contract 2020-1 The Project includes the following Work: The project consists of the relocation of approximately 70 L.F. of 6 force main and approximately 70 L.F. of 8 water main, stream crossings, along with the necessary appurtenances. A pre-bid conference is not scheduled for the Project. Bid Bond amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid to guarantee the Bidder entrance into a contract if given the award. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price on the forms provided, with a surety company listed on the Treasury Departments most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the State of Pennsylvania. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
