Demolition and site work for a residential development in Woodland, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Contract Documents. The estimated major item quantities are summarized as follows: Estimated Quantity Base Bid Item 1. Demolition and Disposal 1 LS Plans, Specifications and forms of bid for the proposed work prepared by Pennoni Associates, Municipal Engineers, and approved by the Township of Woodland have been filed at the Township of Woodland Municipal Building and at the office of said ENGINEER, at 515 Grove Street, Suite 1B, Haddon Heights, New Jersey 08035 (Telephone No. 856-547-0505), and may be inspected by prospective bidders during regular business hours. Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Woodland, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, A bid guarantee shall be submitted and accompanied by an executed consent form from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit the bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. The Township of Woodland reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders, who, in the judgment of the Township of Woodland makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The work for this project consists of the following items: 1. Place security fencing around the property within five (5) calendar days of the notice to proceed and maintain this fencing until the Project is completed. 2. The structure is to be completely demolished within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of appropriate permits by the Construction Official. 3. All debris arising from demolition activities of the structure is to be removed from the property within five (5) days of demolition. 4. Final restoration and grading of the property is to occur within seven (7) days of removal of the debris from the property. 5. The Contractor shall coordinate with Woodland Township to provide at least five (5) days advance notice to adjacent property owners, and other surrounding residents as determined by the Woodland Township, prior to commencing the Work.
