Saving Project...

Renovation of a military facility in Denver, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) requests bids to install an emergency generator at the Denver Readiness Center in Denver Colorado. The project consists of installing a new 350kW diesel standby generator with a skid-mounted fuel tank. The new generator shall be placed within a level II, sound-attenuated, weatherproof enclosure. In addition, a new automatic transfer switch, service entrance switchboard and associated conduit/conductors shall be installed. A new, structural concrete pad shall be poured for the generator foundation and new generator exhaust piping shall be installed. An existing CMU trash enclosure will be removed to make way for the new generator. The only opportunity for bidders to access the site will be during the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bidders are encouraged to have their sub-contractors attend the pre-bid meeting. The facility is open and available Tuesday through Friday from 6:30AM to 5:00PM. The awarded vendor will be given a schedule of holiday and drill weekends.The facility is open and available Tuesday through Friday from 6:30AM to 5:00PM.
