Construction will be in strict conformance with all NYSDOT and Federal Aid Requirements and governed by the NYSDOT Standard Specifications The City of Rensselaer has included specific provisions and requirements, which are included in the project manual. Should there be any discrepancies between NYSDOT and the City of Rensselaer requirements, the more stringent shall apply. There is a 6% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Utilization Goal for this project. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion ofthe work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: The project is a pavement preservation and pedestrian safety project located on Third Avenue between the East Street Overpass Bridge and the City/Town line located approximately 500 feet east of High Street. The project will include a mill and inlay of the roadway, minor drainage improvements, and various signing and striping modifications.
