Site work and paving for a civil project in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The major items of work for this tender include: - Demolition and disposal of an existing standard two span timber bridge including removal of piles to 1.5 m below grade; - Installation and backfill of two new 2400 mm diameter (2.8 mm W.T.) by 26 m long galvanized CSP culverts, or the following alternates: Alternate #1: Two 2100 mm diameter by 26.84 m long reinforced concrete pipe culverts (Class 50-D); Alternate #2: Two 2130 mm diameter by 26 m long Weholite HDPE culverts (RSC250). - Excavation, loading, and hauling of fill material from the borrow area to the site; - Embankment regrading and erosion control including rip-rap, seeding, and erosion protection blankets; and - Roadwork to re-grade the road approaches and ditches on either side of the creek. Tenders must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified cheque in the amount of 5% of the Total Tender Price, payable to the Rural Municipality of Connaught and a Consent of Surety to furnish a Performance Bond and Labour and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the tendered price.
