Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Phillipsburg, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
As of September 12, 2022, project was awarded to Vogts-Parga Construction LLC, awarded amount is $1,419,119.40. In general, the improvements on which bids are requested will require the following major construction items: o Earthwork/Subgrade Preparation o Construction of Runway 13/31 Extension (600' x 60') o Construction of Taxiway Turnaround o Installation of Runway and Taxiway Pavement Marking o Installation of new base-mounted Medium Intensity Runway Light (MIRL) system on Runway Extension o Installation of Runway 13 End PAPIs and REILs o Installation of Temporary Erosion Control Measures to stabilize the on-site soils and prevent soil run-off o Installation of subdrain system along newly constructed pavement Direct all questions to Benesch Project Manager Brad Waller at bwaller@benesch.com. The Owner reserves the right, at the time of the site visit, to reject requests to inspect specific areas of the airfield, if it is not conducive to airport operations at the time.
