Renovation of a multi-residential development in Brockton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
As of 07/26/2021 This project has not been awarded. Project consists of but not limited to: Interior Modifications to existing living units at the kitchens and bathrooms and other miscellaneous finishes. Base Bid work includes four risers, 12, 13, 23 and 24, containing 30 units. Additional Alternate 1 Riser 11 and Alternate 2 Riser 9. Work per riser shall include the demolition of existing kitchens and bathrooms including asbestos abatement, kitchen cabinetry, all flooring, drywall and finishes, plumbing fixtures, miscellaneous waste and vent piping, hot and cold-water risers and piping within the units, and associated electrical work. Demolition includes a waste management plan. Provide new kitchen cabinetry, all flooring, drywall and finishes, plumbing fixtures, miscellaneous waste and vent piping, hot and cold-water risers and piping within the units, and associated electrical work. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) in the following category of work: Prime/General Contracting and must submit a current DCAM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed Update Statement (CQ3). Each general bidder must submit a completed Unit Price Schedule and a completed HUD 5369-A Representations, Certifications and other Statements of Bidders and a completed HUD 2530 Previous Participation Schedule with their bid. The Brockton Housing Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities in or reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period as stated in the supplemental conditions, after approval of the award by the Brockton Housing Authority without written consent of the Brockton Housing Authority. General Bids and Filed sub-bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit which shall not be less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount, and made payable to the Brockton Housing Authority. Rule of Award - Award of contract will be made to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder. The Brockton Housing Authority, the awarding authority reserves the right to reject all bids if it is deemed in the public interest. The Brockton Housing Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities in or reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period as stated in the supplemental conditions, after approval of the award by the Brockton Housing Authority without written consent of the Brockton Housing Authority.
